ReCube and Heep Hong Society are joining hands to promote both environmental protection and social inclusion in Hong Kong.
In 2024, we began collaborating with Heep Hong Society’s Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Services Centre in Kwai Chung. Their trainees form the dedicated team behind our operations, carefully cleaning and counting ReCube’s reusable tableware every day.
This partnership creates real and shared value as trainees gain on-the-job training and confidence, while every clean container replaces another single-use item. In just a few months, more than 20 trainees have helped ReCube wash over 30,000 pieces of tableware, contributing a total of 3,000 working hours.
TVB’s current affairs programme News Perspective recently featured this collaboration, shining a light on the “unsung heroes” supporting our reusable tableware rental service. Watch the segment from 06:13–08:59 here:

We are also grateful to Hong Kong Baptist University for supporting and facilitating this partnership. Together, we are empowering trainees with learning and developmental needs, while taking tangible steps towards a more sustainable and inclusive city.
